Nyerere National Park which was formerly known as Selous Game Reserve- one of the least visited places in Tanzania, and this makes it the perfect place for tourists who want to enjoy the big 5 without the large crowd. It has a diversity of vegetation especially the famous Miombo woodland, lots of wildlife and over 400 bird species that can all be viewed in their natural habitats. The National Park is one of the few places in Tanzania which you can explore with both a game drive and a boat ride, Nyerere is located in the southern part of the country and only 3 hours' drive from Dar es salaam. On your arrival to Nyerere Np enjoy game drive, walking safari, birding in the park, boat safari also cultural visit.

- Day 1 - DAR ES SALAAM TO NYERERE (SELOUS) NATIONAL PARK
The adventure begins. Meet and greet with our guide and be driven through the African landscape towards Nyerere National Park previously known as Selous game reserve. Here your first safari awaits – a peaceful boat rides at evening to sunset. With a glass in your hand and nature around you, you will feel that magical feeling of being far away from everyday life, and in the middle of something big initially bird watching, crocs and hippos as our main attention.

- Day 2 - Full day guided game drive - Nyerere National Park
Real Safari. Today we spend the whole day following the animal tracks through the wilderness. With vast landscapes around you and binoculars at the ready, encounters with Africa’s most powerful animals await. Perhaps you will hear lions roar in the distance or see elephants roaming across the savannah – this is the day when safari becomes a reality

- Day 3 - Day morning walking safari and Afternoon game drive
Wilderness up close. The morning begins with a guided bush walk, where you will get closer to nature than you have ever been before. With an experienced guide who has lived his whole life in the area, you will get to know the animals, plants and the small details that are otherwise lost from the car. Then after lunch proceeds with your afternoon game drive across wilderness journey continues to the evening where it offers even more chances to see the animals at dusk

- Day 4 - Departure to Dar es salaam
After early breakfast leave your lodge to the village (OPTIONAL) local experience maximum 2 hours, you will encounter village life stories telling, visiting cultures and plantations around the village. Mloka village is located along the Rufiji River not far from your place of accommodation. The best way to learn about a place is from the people who live there, and this cultural tour will allow you to do just that. To experience a glimpse into the life, led by these wonderful friendly people. After this excursion your guide will drive you back to Dar es salaam. SAFARI END
