1Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Arrival in Arusha: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. Depending on your flight, you can spend some time in Arusha or head straight to the Ngorongoro Crater. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater: After lunch or in the afternoon, transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater, which takes about 4 to 5 hours from Arusha. Arriving in the evening, you can check into your lodge or camp located on the rim of the crater. Overnight: Stay at a luxury lodge or tented camp with a view of the crater (such as Ngorongoro Crater Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge).

2Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Early Morning Game Drive: Start early to catch the best wildlife activity on the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) all in one location. You’ll also spot other wildlife like zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and a variety of birds. Picnic Lunch in the Crater: Stop for a packed lunch in one of the designated picnic spots within the crater while enjoying the stunning surroundings. Afternoon Game Drive: After lunch, continue your safari. You might get the chance to see the rare black rhino or a cheetah in action.
