Masai Mara is famous all over the world for its annual wildebeest migration, as the wildebeest attempt to cross the Mara River from Serengeti to Masai mara national reserve, they will encounter crocodiles, lions, and predators. Apart from the migration the reserve has a high wildlife density and avian life as well. Lake Nakuru boast a good number of endangered Rhinos both the black and the white rhinos, herds of buffalo can be spotted not to mention the big cats predators like the lions and leopard. The Lake its self gives a habitat to over 450 species of birds making it a perfect place for bird lovers. Its a truly a dream come true for any traveler to visit these two magical parks.

    Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our office representative for a short safari briefing and soon after drive across the Great Rift Valley to reache Lake Nakuru national park in time for lunch. Soon after lunch proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive in search of more wildlife among vast bird species as the sun goes down return to the lodge for diner and overnight.

Getting There

Tourists can visit these safari locations once in Kenya and can show up via air, land or ocean, however, flights are the most favoured mode of transport. Kenya is a huge nation and while you can go via vehicle on a safari circuit, getting between the various regions is better on a booked flight.
Kenya's main airport is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), located 15km/9mi southeast of Nairobi. Kenya's second international Airport is Moi International Airport (MBA), located 9km/6mi west of Mombasa, but aside from flights to Zanzibar, this is primarily used for domestic and charter flights.
From Nairobi or Mombasa, one can fly or drive between reserves, or opt to do a bit of both. Most domestic flights out of Nairobi depart from Wilson Airport (WIL), 6km/4mi south of Nairobi.
