- Day 1 - The journey from Maun into the OkavangoArrival You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost. We will pick you up from your lodge, hotel, or from the airport early in the morning, at 6 or 7 am, depending on the season. We continue directly into the Delta (Xakanaxa and Third Bridge area) with the early morning excitement. We will explore the awe-inspiring Xakanaxa lagoon and corners of the Moremi Game Reserve, as well as its adjacent wildlife-rich areas. You can expect to see Elephants, Hippos, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, lions, leopards, wildebeest, Cape buffalo, and African wild dogs as well as more than 200 species of birds. Day’s activities: - Drive from Maun to Okavango - Set up camp - Late afternoon game drive

- Day 2 - Explore the OkavangoAn extensive early morning game drive and return to camp at around 8:30 am for a delicious breakfast. Depending on the water levels, boat cruises or mokoro rides may be possible. This allows us to explore the fauna and flora from a vantage point on the water. One boat cruise will be done complementary to this itinerary. Our guide will inform you about the time. In the evening, you get to feel even closer to nature. The night sounds are fully explained and described by the guide and his team.

- Day 3 - Return to MaunWe take you for an early morning game-viewing experience, on this drive, you may get a chance to see "the big cats" (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) as they hunt in the morning, taking advantage of the cool temperatures. After the short game drive, we will start our journey back to Maun. This drive is an adventure on its own as we drive through wildlife-rich areas adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve. End of tour Additional accommodation can be arranged for an extra cost. You'll be dropped off at the airport.

Getting There
Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, also known as Gaborone Airport, is the main airport in Botswana. It is located 15 km from Gaborone, the capital.
For travellers, it is more common to fly into Maun Airport (MUB) and Kasana Airport (BBK). When combining a safari in Botswana with a visit to Victoria Falls, it is common to fly into Maun and depart from Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport (LVI) in Zambia.
Most visitors to Botswana will have a stopover in South Africa to pick up a direct flight from OR Tambo International Airport (JNB), Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
In most cases, your tour operator will collect you from the airport and will arrange all further transportation.

- Children travelling with one parent or no parents must have an affidavit from the missing parent/s that gives their consent for travel.
- In case a person is travelling by road, they need to carry all the current and valid vehicle documents and essential permits.
