After exploring the park and spotting its incredible wildlife, you will be driven to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.
Tarangire National Park takes its name from the Tarangire River, often called the “river of warthogs,” which serves as the lifeline for wildlife during the dry season. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, which are frequently seen gathered along the riverbanks. You may also encounter giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, along with a variety of predators such as lions and leopards. Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic site within the park, allowing you to soak in the beautiful surroundings.

Though small in size, Lake Manyara National Park offers incredible diversity. The towering Great Rift Escarpment forms its dramatic western boundary, while the park itself is one of Africa’s narrowest, creating an intimate yet majestic experience. The park’s namesake, a shallow soda lake, attracts thousands of wading birds, including flamingos, along with more than 500 other bird species. The lake expands and contracts with the seasons, adding to the park’s ever-changing beauty and rich wildlife experience.
