Ruaha National Park has several historical and cultural sites. The Ruaha is celebrated as ‘the country of the valiant Chief Kwawa people’ who fought the German attack at the end of the 19th century. The Ruaha has a large river system that is not only one of the park’s attractions but also a watershed supporting the environment. The Great Ruaha River, the Mzombe River, the Mdonya River, the Mwagusi River, and the Jongomero River are some of the key rivers of Ruaha National Park.

- Day 1 - DRIVE FROM IRINGA TO RUAHA NATIONAL PARK - GO FOR A GAME DRIEarly morning after finishing a breakfast in Iringa, you will be transferred to Ruaha National Park, approximately a 2 - 3 hours journey. On your arrival arrival, will check in at your accommodation property have a hot lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a game viewing at the park. Ruaha is renowned for its diverse wildlife and abundant bird species, offering a beautiful and exciting exploration of its various areas. After finishing the game drive, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay inside the park at TANAPA Bandas (Meal Plan : HB).
