- Day 1 - Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 AM by the Jossec Safaris team for a short safari briefing before departing north towards Samburu National Reserve. Along the way, there will be a stop at the Equator for photos and stretching before continuing through changing landscapes towards the semi-arid northern frontier. Arrive at Samburu Simba Lodge in time for check-in and lunch.
Samburu National Reserve is famous for its unique wildlife species rarely found elsewhere, including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, the lifeline of the reserve, where elephants, lions, leopards, and many other animals gather to drink. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

- Day 2 - Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, spend the entire day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve offers dramatic scenery, open savannah, acacia woodland, and excellent wildlife sightings throughout the year. Due to the permanent water source from the Ewaso Nyiro River, the reserve supports a high concentration of wildlife.
Your experienced Jossec Safaris guide will help track wildlife while sharing detailed information about the animals, birds, and local Samburu culture. Expect possible sightings of elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, crocodiles, hippos, and the special northern Kenya species unique to this ecosystem.
Return to Samburu Simba Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

- Day 3 - Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south towards Lake Nakuru National Park with scenic views of the Great Rift Valley along the route. Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for check-in and lunch.
In the afternoon, proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s best wildlife parks for rhino viewing. The park is home to both black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, and many bird species including flamingos during suitable seasons.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

- Day 4 - Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park when wildlife is most active. After breakfast, depart with a short game drive en route and continue to Lake Naivasha, arriving at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge for check-in and lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha followed by a guided walking safari at Crescent Island Sanctuary. Here, you can walk among giraffes, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, and other herbivores while enjoying close-up photography opportunities in a peaceful environment.
Return to the lodge later in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Drive through scenic landscapes and Maasai villages before arriving at Mara Simba Lodge for check-in and lunch.
After some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive across the vast plains of Maasai Mara. The reserve is known for its exceptional wildlife concentration including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and many antelope species. During the migration season, millions of wildebeests and zebras move through the Mara ecosystem in one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles.
Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at around 7:30 AM, depart with packed lunch boxes for a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara. This extended safari experience allows you to explore deeper sections of the reserve in search of the Big Five and other wildlife species.
You will enjoy lunch at a picnic site near the Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos are commonly seen. The afternoon continues with more wildlife viewing across the endless plains before returning to the lodge in the evening.
Optional activities available today include a Maasai village visit or an early morning hot air balloon safari at an additional cost of USD 450 per person.
