  • Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park

    Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading southwest to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem famed for its majestic baobab trees, rolling savannah, and the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Upon arrival, enjoy an extended 5–7 hour game drive, spotting a rich variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and over 500 bird species. At midday, savor a packed picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park, surrounded by nature’s beauty. In the late afternoon, journey to the verdant highlands of Karatu Village and check in at Marera Valley Lodge, a charming lodge set amidst lush gardens, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight rest, ready for the adventures of the following day.

  • Day 2 - Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

    After breakfast at Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu Village, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, located just a short drive away. This small yet diverse park, set at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, is famed for its lush groundwater forest, scenic lake views, and abundant wildlife. On your game drive, look out for elephants, hippos, buffalo, giraffes, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, along with a wide variety of birds, including flamingos and pelicans along the lake’s shores. With its mix of forests, marshes, and open savannah, Lake Manyara offers a visually stunning and varied safari experience. After an unforgettable wildlife encounter, exit the park and return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight, concluding your remarkable 2-day safari adventure.
