- Day 1 - Ngorongoro Crater Day Trip
Your day begins with an early morning drive from Karatu to the crater's rim with an expert guide-driver, you will enjoy the game viewing on the open plains and by the hippo pool surrounded by dramatic landscapes and ancient volcanic walls.
At midday, you'll stop for picnic lunch overlooking the crater continuing your game drive. After lunch you will ascend the crater and drive back to karatu.

- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
