    6:30 AM – Early Pick-Up & Sunrise Departure

Your adventure begins at dawn as your guide picks you from your hotel. The city is quiet, the air is crisp, and Nairobi begins to glow with soft golden light—perfect for a day dedicated to wildlife and conservation. As you drive toward the park, your guide shares insights about Nairobi’s rare status as the only capital bordered by a full wildlife reserve.

7:00 AM – Nairobi National Park Game Drive

Enter the park just as the sun rises over the acacia-dotted plains. This is prime time for wildlife activity: lions prowl through the tall grass, rhinos graze near waterholes, giraffes stride elegantly across open plains, and herds of zebra and gazelle swirl through the morning mist.

Your 4x4 vehicle allows you to explore deeper into the park’s diverse landscapes—savannah, riverine forest, and rocky valleys—each teeming with wildlife. Keep your camera ready; it’s not every day you capture rhinos and skyscrapers in the same shot.

9:30 AM – Into the Heart of the Wild

Continue your game drive as the park awakens fully. Watch for elusive leopards resting in the shade, buffalo gathering around water points, and ostriches sprinting across the plains. Your guide’s expert tracking skills ensure you don’t miss a single moment, offering stories and fascinating facts that bring each encounter to life.

10:45 AM – Giraffe Centre Visit

Leave the park and head to the renowned Giraffe Centre, a sanctuary dedicated to the protection of the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Step onto the raised wooden platform where these gentle giants gracefully lean in for a treat—an unforgettable face-to-face moment. Learn how the sanctuary saved the species from near extinction, and enjoy rare opportunities for incredible close-up photos.

12:00 PM – Optional Lunch Stop

Take a relaxing break at a charming nearby restaurant or café (own cost). Whether you choose a local Kenyan dish or a quick international bite, it’s the perfect time to recharge and reflect on your morning’s wildlife encounters.

1:00 PM – David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage

Arrive at the world-famous Elephant Orphanage just in time for the much-anticipated feeding session. Watch the youngest elephants toddle out for their bottles, splash each other with mud, and wrestle playfully like oversized toddlers. Your guide shares heartwarming rescue stories—many of these elephants were saved from poaching or human-wildlife conflict.

This is more than a visit; it’s a deeply emotional experience that connects you to Kenya’s most impactful conservation work. Many guests describe it as the highlight of their entire trip.

2:30 PM – Scenic Drive Back to Hotel

Relax on the return journey as you pass through leafy suburbs and bustling city streets. With a camera full of unforgettable photos and a heart full of purpose, you’ll arrive back at your hotel carrying memories of a day that perfectly blends wildlife, conservation, and the spirit of Nairobi.

Getting There

Tourists can visit these safari locations once in Kenya and can show up via air, land or ocean, however, flights are the most favoured mode of transport.
