  • Day 2 - Arusha to Lake Manyara national park

Early in the morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa can reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day.

Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. At lunchtime, your driver will set up and prepare a table using the shade of our car, for a full hot meal that includes soup, bread rolls, a main dish and fruit salad, followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee.

    Main Destination:

    Lake Manyara National Park

    Accommodation: Suricata Boma Lodge

Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included

  • Day 3 - Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park in Central Seronera is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "Big Five", named for the 5 most prized trophies taken by hunters. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. The reclusive leopards are commonly seen in the Seronera area.

Enjoy the game drive until lunchtime when your driver will set and prepare the table for a hot meal of soup, bread rolls, the main dish and fruit salad. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. After lunch, your search continues for the big cats and the "Big Five". In the evening, you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, go on a game drive in Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon, your driver will set and prepare the table for a hot lunch which includes soup, bread rolls, a main dish and fruit salad, followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. Continue with the game drive until evening.

During the great migration, a million wildebeest, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfill its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life in the frenzied 3-week bout of territorial conquests and mating.

Your driver will set up a sundowner picnic table with drinks and snacks before you drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

    Serengeti National Park

    Accommodation: FRIENNDS SERENGETI CAMPS

  • Day 5 - Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Masai Mara National Reserve across the border in Kenya, protect the greatest and most varied collection of terrestrial wildlife on earth. It is also one of the last great migratory systems still intact. You'll have breakfast at the lodge followed by a game drive in Serengeti National Park, searching for big cats and the "Big Five".

In the afternoon, your driver will set up and prepare the table for a hot lunch which includes soup, bread rolls, the main dish and fruit salad, followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. Late in the afternoon, drive to the camp in Ngorongoro for dinner and your overnight stay.

    Main Destination:

    Serengeti National Park

    Accommodation: Farm of Dreams Lodge

Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included

  • Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart from the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa's "Big Five" within the crater, among a vast array of other wildlife including hundreds of bird species.

Enjoy a full day in the crater on a game drive. In the evening, you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on earth and is home to Africa's "Big Five". Here, you can witness Maasai tribesmen living among wild animals and experience exceptional natural landscapes.

  • Day 7 - Tarangire National Park to Arusha

After breakfast at the hotel and a short safari briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive in the park.

Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania and is located slightly off the main safari route. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travellers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for only a matter of hours, leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched.

Your driver will set and prepare the table for a hot meal of soup, bread rolls, the main dish and fruit salad. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for a drop-off at the airport.
