After breakfast, depart by road with your guide to your Tarangire National Park. Enjoy an exciting game drive in the park with your knowledgeable and experienced guide who will share with information with you about the wildlife you spot in the park. At lunchtime, you will have a rest under an acacia tree where you eat your packed lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will continue with your game viewing activities until later in the afternoon when you drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.

  • Day 01 - ARUSHA - TARANGIRE N. PARK - ARUSHA.
    After breakfast, depart by road with your guide to your Tarangire National Park. Enjoy an exciting game drive in the park with your knowledgeable and experienced guide who will share with information with you about the wildlife you spot in the park. At lunchtime, you will have a rest under an acacia tree where you eat your packed lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will continue with your game viewing activities until later in the afternoon when you drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice. The park is a haven for bird enthusiasts with 500 bird species recorded in the park. Other wildlife found in the park includes large herds of thousands of wildebeests, zebra and Cape buffalo that can be seen in the dry season from June to November. Thousands of wild animals from the surrounding areas move to the park due to the availability of water from the Tarangire River. Common resident animals in the park include giraffe, impala, Dik-dik, Grants gazelle, banded mongoose, velvet monkey, and olive monkey. Particularly large numbers of elephant herds congregate here, as do many Eland. There are also extensive populations of impala, giraffe. Thompson's gazelle, Coke's hartebeest, Bohor Reedbuck and lesser Kudu can be seen here. The localized and fringe-eared Oryx as well. Predators in the park include African wild dog, Caracal, cheetah, lion, leopard and honey badger.

  • Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
