Drive from your hotel to Tarangire National Park after an early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is a Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you'll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home to tree-climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. Later drive back to Mto wa Mbu/Karatu town.

After breakfast in the lodge with your picnic lunch box drive to Serengeti national park via the rim of Crater en route to Serengeti. The drive can be no less than 4 hours. Serengeti is home to thousands of wildlife animal species & some of them join in the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. After breakfast, we will set off on a full-day game drive in Serengeti following the Great Migration trails. We will proceed for a full-day game drive viewing the great migration at the Mara area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area. The key feature is the Mara River and there is a great chance to see the herds cross the Mara River to the north one day and back south a few days later. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to the river and only decide to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve.

After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti North to view the great migration at the Mara area. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. on this day you won't spend long day in the north thereafter starting drive back to central Serengeti Please take note that finding a crossing is very challenging and is sometimes a matter of luck.
