This is where all of your planning becomes a reality: your safari starts now. Tanzania is such a wonderful country when it comes to wildlife and beautiful landscapes. After we greet you and answer any questions you might have, we'll take great pleasure in taking you out and showing you what we mean. Watch for Mt Kilimanjaro to appear above Moshi’s rooftops to the north – the best time is usually when the clouds clear in the early morning or late afternoon. Moshi is quieter than Arusha and is a pleasant place to stroll with good shops, restaurants and bustling markets.

    Accommodation: Altezza Lodge

    Meals & Drinks: Breakfast Included

  • Day 2 - Mount Kilimanjaro day hikking
After breakfast at your lodge, your driver guide will pick you up from your lodge and drive to Marangu gate where you will start your Mt.Kilimanjaro day hike. Mt Kilimanjaro is more than Africa’s highest peak. It is also one of the continent’s most challenging yet rewarding expeditions.

  • Day 3 - From the Safari house hotel to Tarangire National Park
If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants – baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Your backdrop for all of this is one of the prettiest in northern Tanzania, with a memorable mix of river woodland, open plains and rolling hills. And some vantage points to take it all in.

    Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

    Accommodation: Baghayo Garden Suites

Meals & Drinks: All Meals Included

  • Day 4 - Central Serengeti National Park
Welcome to the Serengeti's most popular wildlife area. It's here in the heart of the park, in the Central Serengeti, that you find the densest concentrations of wildlife. Big cats and elephants are frequently seen in this area, and this section of the park is rich in acacia trees and big Serengeti horizons. You're staying in the Serengeti's wildlife heartland of Seronera when you stay at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp. The camp has everything you need, from large safari tents, a public dining and lounge tent, and nightly campfires where you can meet other safari travelers. But this place also has the X-factor that comes with occupying prime safari real estate: staying here means anything could happen at any moment, from an elephant wandering through camp to a lion roaring just beyond the trees.

    Main Destination: Serengeti National Park

    Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage luxury Camp

Meals & Drinks: All Meals Included

  • Day 5 - Full day game drive in Central Serengeti National Park
Return to the Central Serengeti to further explore this impressive place. Expect big cats, elephants and giraffes in the Serengeti, and that’s just the start on a canvas of big sky horizons, flat-topped acacias and beautiful grasslands. Activity Day 5 A guided game drive through Serengeti National Park is one of the best safari experiences you can have anywhere in Africa. Apart from the signature Savannah grasslands and the park's amazing wildlife, your guide will show you all that's good about the Serengeti.

Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage Luxury tented Camp

Meals & Drinks: Meals included as per itinerary

  • Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater morning and afternoon game drive
Ngorongoro is a special place and the first time that you descend onto the crater floor is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself, one where you’ll encounter the crater’s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. You’ll also find elephants with larger than-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. But it’s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory. From early morning, mist rises from the crater, revealing steep, forested walls, secret waterways where hippos wallow, and a world of abundant wildlife hidden away from the rest of the world. Around halfway between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro, close to the busy town of Karatu but down a quiet side street, Marera Valley Lodge is an excellent place to stay. It has its own expansive grounds with big views out over the surrounding greenery. The handsome main building shelters a bar, restaurant and lounge, there's a swimming pool, and the spacious rooms are immaculate refuges you'll be happy to retreat to at the end of a long day.

    Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

    Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge

Meals & Drinks: All Meals Included

  • Day 7 - Lake Manyara National Park / transfer to the Airport for Za
Lake Manyara is all about niche wildlife experiences: you’ll look for tree-climbing lions, get really close to elephants, and gaze upwards at the cliffs of the Great Rift Valley. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. When you arrive on Zanzibar Island, you know straightaway that this is a place like no other. This was an island made wealthy by its role in the spice trade, and the superb architecture and spice-filled markets are reminders of that time. Fine beaches and scenery are also found across the island.

    Main Destination: Zanzibar

    Accommodation: Jafferji House & SPA

    Meals & Drinks: Breakfast Included

  • Day 8 - Zanzibar Island
Enjoy exploring Zanzibar Island further. Enjoy the architecture, spice smells, museums, Muslim call to prayer and powerful sense of history in Stone Town. You couldn't be any closer to the beach than you are at Mnarani Beach Cottages, at Nungwi in the north of Zanzibar's main island. Most of the public areas, including the lovely pool, bar and restaurant, are right by the beach, and the rooms are bright and airy and come with wood furnishings. The many palm trees here will add to your feeling of being in a tropical retreat.
