Tanzania Southern Serengeti (Ndutu) Wildebeest Migration Safari & Calving seasons has been designed specifically to focus on following the Great Serengeti Wildebeest migration during calving from December to March. The areas to be covered are Lake Ndutu area, as well as the Southern and Central areas of Serengeti National Park where the majority of the wildebeest are usually found. A visit to the world famous Ngorongoro Crater is a part of this safari as well as Tarangire National Park. The Southern Serengeti and Ndutu areas in Tanzania are the best locations for the months of December, January, February and March as it is the time to witness thousands of wildebeest spread across the plains grazing on the rich short grass plains. Predator action is at its peak with great sightings of cheetah, lion, hyena and leopard and a very good chance to see adrenalin-packed kills.

- Day Day 1 - Arival Day: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha TownUpon your arrival at the airport our driver guide will pick you up from the Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive to Arusha town for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel of your choice, also known as “A” Town by the locals, which is situated at the foot of Mount Meru, Africa’s 5th highest mountain. Arusha is not a particularly attractive city in itself and is regarded by many visitors as little more than a necessary stopover before and after their safari. In addition to that Arusha is a central of Africa Continent from Cairo to Capetown, and this will be the day of arrival of your 7 days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration Safari.

- Day Day 2 - Arusha – Tarangire National Park.Morning breakfast, check out and our guide will give you a short overview/brief about your safari before starting to drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes for full day game drive. Tarangire is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania after Ruaha, Serengeti, Mikumi, Katavi and Mkomazi. Activities will include a wildlife game drive where you can see pythons climb trees, as well as lions and leopards among others. For the bird lovers, keep an eye for the screeching flocks of colorful yellow-collared lovebirds, and the somewhat drabber rufous-tailed weaver and ashy starling. These are all endemic to the dry Savannah of north-central Tanzania. Letter in the evening you will drive to your Camp within the park for Dinner and overnight stay on Full Board Basis.

- Day Day 3 - Tarangire National Park – Ndutu Area.After breakfast and with our packed lunch boxes we will start our safari to Ndutu area for a full day game drive. Ndutu is within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and situated in the Southern part of Serengeti ecosystem. Lake Ndutu like most other Rift Vallye’s lakes is alkaline, however, the water is still drinkable and consumed by a wide array of local wildlife and the majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to March. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game. In the evening you will drive to your camp for Dinner and Overnight stay on ull Board Basis.

- Day Day 4 - Full Day in Ndutu AreaMorning breakfast then start to enjoy your game drives in Ndutu area along Southern Part of Serengeti exploring a great range of various habitats such as swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world-famous Serengeti short grass plains. You will witness herds of wildebeest and zebras especially during a short time-frame from around February and lasting for about 3 weeks where majority of the wildebeest calves. The Sea of grass provides little cover and the young make an easy prey for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they were born and within 3 days, they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd. Later you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay on Full Board Basis.

- Day Day 5 - South Serengeti ( Ndutu) to Central Serengeti ( Seronera)Morning breakfast, hotel check out then drive to Serengeti National Park (Central Area) for full day of game drive with your packed lunch boxes. The Serengeti “Endless Plain” is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular National Park. Serengeti is famed for its annual migration where some six million hooves pound the open plains. Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you an up-close look of the animals you’ve only seen in National Geographic: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of elands, topi, kongoni, impala Grant’s gazelle and many more. Dinner and Overnight at your Camp on Full Board Basis.

- Day Day 7 - Ngorongoro Crater Tour - Drop off at Kilimanjaro InternationWe’ll leave after breakfast and descending the Crater. With more than 20,000 different mammals’ lives in the area including about 20 black rhinoceros hence making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures. The crater floor also has one of the highest carnivore densities in the world. Game drives will be done till afternoon then ascend the crater for driving back to Kilimanjaro Airport via Arusha town for connecting your flight to Zanzibar of back home. And this will be the last day of Tanzania Ndutu Wildebeest Migration Safari.
