Safari Tour: 6-Day Extraordinary to witness the Great migration Camping Experience - Tanzania Safari Tour
6-Day Tanzania Safari Tour by Moria Safaris
Offered by - Moria Safaris
Tour Features
A highlight of your journey is a visit to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. Formed millions of years ago from a collapsed volcanic caldera, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Descending into the crater feels like entering a hidden paradise. The fertile floor supports an incredible concentration of wildlife, making it one of the best places in Tanzania to see the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino all in a single day. Unlike the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro offers a more enclosed ecosystem, where animals remain year-round due to the availability of water and grazing land. You’ll witness diverse habitats within the crater, including open grasslands, swamps, acacia forests, and the soda lake known as Lake Magadi, often dotted with flamingos. This stop provides a unique contrast to the Great Migration experience while the Serengeti showcases movement and scale, Ngorongoro delivers density and close-up encounters, making it an unforgettable part of your safari adventure.
