Gorilla trekking in Uganda is an astonishing privilege, the tour takes you to visit a home to half of the world’s population of Mountain Gorillas in Uganda. It is needed a great privilege to be able to these enormously powerful and gentle creatures in their spectacular natural habitat, the tropical forests bordering the Virunga Volcanoes. This tour can be to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a treasure chest forest in East Africa or to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, one of Uganda's most scenic parks with its dramatic volcanoes.

- Day 1 - Leave KampalaIn the early morning at 0600hrs, drive from Kampala with lunch en-route in Mbarara and proceed to either Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park or to Mgahinga Gorilla N.P. - Day 2 - Gorilla TrekingAfter an early breakfast, depart to the park headquarters and proceed for a briefing from park ranger guides at 7.30 before starting your Gorilla trek at 8.00 am through the steeply forested and beautiful landscapes along several animal trails. The climax of the adventure is the opportunity to view the gentle and endangered mountain Gorillas which is an exciting and memorable experience, later return to your lodge for lunch. This may take 3 to 8 hours depending on how soon you get to them. - Day 3 - Community ToursAfter breakfast, transfer for a village walk and community tours depending on which lodge is used. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, and rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. There are other options for walks in the forest to explore waterfalls, primates and birds. Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
