Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to either embark on an optional city tour of Kampala or relax at your lodging. In the evening, your guide will provide a briefing about the upcoming gorilla trekking adventure. You will spend the night in either Entebbe or Kampala, preparing for the exciting gorilla trekking experience in the following days.

Upon arrival, you check in at your accommodation near Bwindi. The remainder of the day dedicated to relaxation and preparation for the upcoming gorilla trek.     Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

The highlight of the day is the gorilla trek, which can extend for several hours based on the location of the gorilla family tracked. After reaching the gorillas, you have the privilege of spending approximately one hour observing and photographing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Following the trek, a gorilla trekking certificate presented at the park headquarters. You then transfer back to your accommodation, where the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, reflecting on the incredible gorilla encounter.

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.
