Tour Features

This four-day Kenya safari delivers an outstanding wildlife experience across two of the country's most celebrated parks. Beginning with a comfortable transfer from Nairobi to the scenic Rift Valley, you spend two days exploring Lake Nakuru National Park from the welcoming Lanet Mat Farm — encountering rhino, lion, leopard, flamingos, and Rothschild giraffe in one of Kenya's most rewarding and compact reserves. You then travel southwest to the legendary Maasai Mara, where Enchoro Camp serves as your base for game drives across vast open grasslands teeming with lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, and the full Big Five. The journey ends with a final dawn drive in the Mara before returning to Nairobi, having experienced the very best of Kenya's wildlife in just four days

  • Day 1 - Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Your safari begins with a pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel, where your driver-guide will be waiting to welcome you and load your luggage. You depart the city and head northwest through the highlands, enjoying views of the Rift Valley escarpment as the landscape opens up dramatically before you. The drive takes approximately two and a half hours, and you arrive at Lanet Mat Farm in Nakuru in time for a relaxed lunch at the property.

After checking in and freshening up, you head into Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. The park wastes no time in delivering — rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, waterbuck, and the endangered Rothschild giraffe are all regularly sighted, and the alkaline lakeshore frequently draws large flocks of flamingos. You explore the park as the afternoon light turns golden before returning to Lanet Mat Farm for dinner and overnight.

    Accommodation: Lanet Mat Farm

Meals & Drinks: Lunch, Dinner Included

  • Day 2 - Arrival in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Start the day with breakfast at Lanet Mat Farm before heading out on a morning game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park. Make the most of the cool early hours as you explore the park's varied terrain — rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, flamingos, and Rothschild giraffe are all regularly encountered. After the drive, return to the lodge to check out and freshen up before beginning the drive southwest toward the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The journey takes approximately four to five hours, passing through the agricultural landscapes of the Rift Valley floor and the rolling hills of the Mara region, with the scenery gradually opening into the wide savannah grasslands that signal your arrival in one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations. You arrive at Enchoro Camp in time for lunch, followed by time to settle in and relax. By late afternoon you are out on your first game drive across the Mara plains, where lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, and large herds of plains game greet you as the sun dips toward the horizon. Return to Enchoro Camp for dinner and overnight.

    Accommodation: Echoro Camp Maasai Mara

Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included

  • Day 3 - Maasai Mara National Reserve — Full Day

Start the day with a full breakfast at Enchoro Camp before heading out on a morning game drive across the Maasai Mara. The plains come alive in the early hours — cheetah are often spotted hunting in the open grassland, lion prides return from overnight activity, and elephant move quietly through the golden morning light. The Mara's vast landscape stretches in every direction, and the sheer density of wildlife here means every drive delivers something remarkable.

As the morning drive continues, stop at a scenic spot on the open plains for a bush picnic lunch, sitting surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness beneath the open sky. After lunch, head out on a late afternoon game drive as the light softens and the plains come alive once more. Leopard are occasionally spotted along the Mara River corridor, large herds of buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest graze across the open grassland, and between July and October this is also prime time to position for a Great Wildebeest Migration river crossing — one of the most breathtaking wildlife spectacles on earth.

Return to Enchoro Camp as darkness falls for dinner and overnight.

Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included

  • Day 4 - Maasai Village then back to Nairobi

Start the day with breakfast at Enchoro Camp before checking out and beginning the drive back toward Nairobi. Enroute, stop for a fascinating visit to a traditional Maasai village — a highlight that offers a genuine glimpse into the way of life of the Maasai people, their customs, traditional homesteads, and centuries-old traditions that have endured alongside the modern world. Continue the drive and stop for lunch at a restaurant enroute before arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon in time for onward travel or an overnight stay in the city.

Getting There

Tourists can visit these safari locations once in Kenya and can show up via air, land or ocean, however, flights are the most favoured mode of transport. Kenya is a huge nation and while you can go via vehicle on a safari circuit, getting between the various regions is better on a booked flight.Kenya's main airport is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), located 15km/9mi southeast of Nairobi. Kenya's second international Airport is Moi International Airport (MBA), located 9km/6mi west of Mombasa, but aside from flights to Zanzibar, this is primarily used for domestic and charter flights. From Nairobi or Mombasa, one can fly or drive between reserves, or opt to do a bit of both. Most domestic flights out of Nairobi depart from Wilson Airport (WIL), 6km/4mi south of Nairobi.
