Upon reaching the crater rim, we'll descend down a steep track into the remarkable 600-meter deep caldera, where a remarkable collection of animals and birds await. The caldera, formed from a collapsed volcano, is home to over 25,000 mammals, including the illustrious "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as more than 500 bird species.
