3 days Uganda gorilla safari Tour Highlights Day 1: You'll be picked up from your hotel in Kampala / Entebbe or airport and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. En route, you'll make a stop at the famous Equator Point for fantastic photo opportunities. There are two options for getting there - you can either take a 6-8 hour drive via Masaka road or a domestic flight that takes about an hour. Day 2: Brace yourself for a once-in-a-lifetime experience as you embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi. The lush forest is home to endangered mountain gorillas, you'll get to witness them in their natural habitat. After that, you can choose to go for an optional Batwa cultural tour and learn about their unique way of life. Day 3: It's time to say goodbye to the enchanting Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and head back to Kampala or Entebbe. You'll leave with unforgettable memories of Uganda's captivating natural beauty and wildlife.

- Day 1 - Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest via the Uganda EquatoEmbark on a scenic drive through rural and semi-urban Uganda and stop at the Equator monument for an explanation of the geographical discovery of the Uganda Equator. After lunch, tour the Igongo cultural museum before continuing on to Bwindi for check-in and relaxation before dinner and overnight stay.

- Day 2 - Gorilla trekking ExperienceEnjoy breakfast before setting off for the highlight of the trip - the gorilla trekking experience. After a briefing from park officials, you will trek into the forest to encounter a habituated gorilla family. Keep an eye out for the Bwindi's 350 bird species, 310 butterflies, 200 trees species, and 120 primates including chimps and Black and White Columbus monkeys. The park also offers a range of other activities to enjoy after your trek, including forest walks and community tours. After this trek you may opt to have a guided batwa cultural tour where you will enjoy a cultural perfomance and activities of the batwa people.

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
