    With an early breakfast, we depart the crazy city of Kampala in the morning for the start of your Murchison Falls national park safari. You have lunch either along the way or when reaching the lodge depending on time. When arriving in Murchison Falls National Park you start off with a short game drive in the northern bank of the game reserve as we drive to check in at our lodge for a relaxed evening. This is a grand start to your visit in this Great Animal home!

  • Day 2 - Game drive and boat cruise and hike to the top of the Falls
    Take an early cup of tea/coffee at and then set off for a game-drive in the park. You have the chance of seeing Big cats hunting, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, plus more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76. We continue browsing the Drive circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals. Enjoy a relaxed lunch and then have a 3 hour boat ride to the base of the falls where you get to see the Hippos (You have never seen more hippos yawning, Grooming in there Pods anywhere else than here- Believe me you)! Nile Crocodiles, Elephants and a variety of beautiful bird species along the banks. If you are a keen birder this might be your magnet to catch them. Continue with the hike to visit the top of the falls. This is a magnificent classic highlight on our 2nd day as an explosive dash of water at close range gushes through a narrow crevice.

  • Day 3 - Morning game drive - Transfer back to Kampala
    After breakfast set off for the drive back to Kampala. We pass through the park to have the last flance of wildlife in this giraffe paradise. Have lunch and Continue on to Kampala as we have reached the end of you Murchison Falls national park safari.

Getting There

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

  • When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
  • Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
  • Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
  • Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
  • Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
