Nyerere National Park formally known as Selous GR is Africa’s largest and oldest game reserve. The Selous’ beauty of the park is matched by the quality of a safari with its widest diversity of safari activities, Nyerere Park covers 50,000 square km and it's among the largest protected area in Africa and relatively undisturbed by humans, Selous is rich in elephant, cheetah, giraffe, hippos and crocodile, and many other species. 1Nyerere national park and night game
A pickup will be from the hotel at 04:00hr00 or 05hr00 (based on your Hotel Location to Zanzibar airport) then fly to Nyerere NP, you’ll fly at 06hr00. After arriving Check in and go for a game drive inside Nyerere NP for a most tremendous and memorable safari. Nyerere NP boosts larger population of Elephants, Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile and endangered Wild dog. Commonly seen are pride of Lion, Bush buck, Impala, Warthogs, Ostrich, Giraffe, Eland, Baboon, Zebra, Hyena, Kudu, rare sable antelope and Leopard. Great animal sighting including also other major species like the now rare African hunting dog. You'll stop at noon (12hr30) for Lunch and then you'll embark with a game drive up to 15hr00 where you will have a little break for taking shower in the hotel and have a little rest up to 18:00 where you will have a dinner at 19hr00. After Dinner start a 3-hour night game drive at 20hr00 to 23hr00. There is much to see and wonder at Nyerere National Park night game drive.

2Walking and Boat Tour then fly back to Zanzibar
Early in the Morning before breakfast at 06hr30 you'll go for walking safari with a bushman. At 08hr30 you will have a breakfast. At 09hr00 to 12hr00 you will go for boat tour. Advance to the Great Rufiji River for a wonderful boat tour for 2.5 hours. The Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park striking feature, which provides boat safaris, making it one of the few places in Africa where it's possible to view wildlife and birdlife from water. During a boat safari, there is a great chance of spotting the hippos, crocodiles and plentiful of different bird species such as the African Fish Eagle, Malachite Kingfisher, Goliath Heron, African Skimmer and Boehm's Bee-Eater. After the boat tour at 12hr00 you'll go for lunch and take have a shower, at 15hr00 you'll drive to Mtemere airstrip to catch a flight back to Zanzibar at 04hr00. End of our tour.
