This safari will take you to one of the smallest National Parks in Uganda– Lake Mburo National Park is found west part of the country. it takes you about 3 hours to drive to the Park. Lake Mburo NP is well known as the only park that accommodates Empala in Uganda. It is a home to over 68 mammal species such as Impala, buffaloes, Topis, hyenas Warthogs (bush pigs), leopards, Elands, Buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Giraffes and zebras as well as various bird species. It is famous for having large numbers of Zebras and it’s the park where one can sport the long horned cows in Uganda because the park is shared with community pastoralists. The park has spectacular views straight from rolling hills, the lush green (Savannah grasslands), and seasonal swamps to lakes. There are 5 lakes in the park one can participate in sport fishing of Tilapia type of fish. This park has high concentration of hippos occupying the lake that you will enjoy during the boat tour

- Day 1 - TRAVEL TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK AND TAKE A BOAT CRUISE ANEnjoy breakfast at the hotel in Kampala/Fort portal/ Kabale then our expert safari guide will have picked you up, he will give you more clarity about your amazing safari to lake Mburo national park then You will depart towards the Western part of Uganda with a stopover at Uganda Equator for the photos and live experiment, there after you will proceed to lake Mburo NP via the towns of Lyantonde and Masaka. You will arrival in the park, check in at your hotel and order for lunch, after lunch at 2:00pm, drive through the park as you go for the boat trip, along the park trails you will spot a big number of wild life such as the Giraffes, elands, Leopards, warthogs, buffaloes, zebras, and waterbucks. Take a boat ride along the lake where you will have a great time having a chance to see different animals like the crocodiles, hippos, Topis and lots of water birds. On the way back in the evening expect to see a lot of animals as they resume for grazing and hunting. Then you will drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

- Day 2 - EARLY MORNING GAME DRIVE THEN EXIT THE PARK BEFORE NOONHave breakfast at 6:30am and head out for game drive through the Park, this will last for 4-5 hours before animal hiding of the sunshine. This safari will give you an amazing glimpse of the green lush vegetation of lake Mburo national park and the five beautiful lakes. Expect to see a quiet number of wildlife such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, Giraffe, hippos and different bird species on the acacia trees and near the lakes making beautiful sounds. You will return to the lodge for check out and then proceed to Kampala, Fort Portal, Kabale or Kigali Rwanda via katuna boarder. End of the 2 Day trip in lake Mburo National Park.

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Passports must have a clean and a full visa page for endorsement.
- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
