Before you start your journey to Uganda for the 2Day 1night Uganda –Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour, you will have the option to tour the city of Kigali and important sites like the genocide war memorial centres. After touring the city, you will embark on a 4 hours drive to Bwindi National Park for your 2Day 1-night Uganda –Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour through the Katuna (Uganda – Rwanda border). After Katuna you will head to Ruhija in Bwindi National Park. - Day 2 - Uganda Gorilla trekking and DepartureToday you will wake up very early to take breakfast for you to head out to finish your 2Day 1night Uganda –Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour. Our guide will pick you up and take you to the Bwindi Park offices where you will be briefed and given information regarding Uganda gorilla trekking. You will be assigned a gorilla group and given an opportunity to hire a porter at a cost of 10 USD. Your lodge should arrange for you packed lunch and drink water. Uganda Gorilla trekking tours take between 1 hour to 6 hours depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family that particular day; so book this 2Day 1night Uganda –Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour, knowing that it involves walking and hiking. Once you spot the gorillas, take as many photos as you can and try to follow instructions from the wardens/guides. After completing the trek, come back to your hotel, freshen up, eat/drink something and checkout. Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
