This 10 Days Rwanda Uganda safari holiday is designed to give you the best of both these countries. The tour starts in Rwanda with a city tour and visiting several national parks in the two countries. At Mgahinga forest national park, you can watch Golden Monkeys in their natural habitat, continues to Queen Elizabeth national park, where you will do game drive, Lake Mburo for walking safari while at Bwindi forest national park you may get up close and personal with gorillas. Other attractions include Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Victoria Sun Set Boat Cruise.

- Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to your hotel in KigaliYour arrival and transfer to your hotel in Kigali will be handled by one of our guide professionals. He will greet you, brief you on your trip to Rwanda and later on transfer to the city of Kigali. Depending on time of your arrival, you will have a short city tour with a stop at the Murambi and Gisozi genocide memorial sites along with dinner at some local restaurant. You'll spend the rest of your evening at hotel.

- Day 2 - Kigali City TourEnjoy a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a full-day guided city tour of the capital Kigali. You will visit some interesting historical sites. Learn more about Rwanda’s heart-rending history at the Genocide Memorial Centre and visit the Nyamata Church. You will also have the opportunity to stroll the colourful markets or buy traditional African handwork at the Craft Village. Visit the Rwanda museums too. Return to your hotel at Hotel

- Day 3 - Kigali >> Lake MutandaAfter breakfast, we'll be transferred to Lake Mutanda across Uganda boarder. Reaching in the afternoon, you will be blown away by the amazing landscape and vegetation. After checking in at your accommodation, you will go for an afternoon boat or canoe.

- Day 4 - Golden Monkey trackingAfter breakfast, you will go for golden monkey tracking. This activity also takes like 2-3 hours in Mgahinga forest National Park. Later return back to your lodge for optional activities like Nature walk with guide-$20, Mukozi Community Walk with guide-$30, Lake Mulehe Hike with guide-$50, Mutanda Island trip with guide-$35.

- Day 5 - Gorilla trackingAfter breakfast, you will go for the Gorilla tracking (Optional, other activities can be arranged) in the forest either Bwindi or Mgahinga National Park. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will only be given one hour after which you will come back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for the Batwa community experience.

- Day 6 - Transfer to Lake BunyonyiYou will wake up early to a beautiful breakfast and be ready for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda. Lake Bunyonyi is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Uganda. The 29 islands in the lake are amazing as are the birds and surrounding scenery. Once you arrive, you will check in and go for boat-ride along the lake. Other activities in the lake include swimming, nature walks, cultural visits and simple relaxation. Lake Bunyonyi is free of bilharzia and crocodiles but is one of the deepest lakes in Africa. Exercise caution if you don’t know how to swim.

- Day 7 - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park & game drive at thAfter breakfast, you will depart from Lake Bunyonyi to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have lunch on your way to Ishasha Climbing Lions wildlife viewing experiences, found in Queen Elizabeth national park. Tree climbing lions are only found in Uganda, Tanzania and Kruger National Park in South Africa. The best place to see them is in Uganda. While looking out for the lions, expect to spot many other creatures. After enough of the game drive, you will head to the Lodge

- Day 8 - Morning game drive – Boat ride at the Kazinga ChannelYou will set off early with packed breakfast from your hotel for an early morning game drive to spot the early risers and the nocturnal mammals going back to their dens. Predators like hyenas, leopards and to some extent lions tend to be less active during the day. The best time to see them is very early in the morning when the sun is not yet very hot. You will spot buffaloes, hippos, leopard and lions as well as resident and migratory birds. Once you are done with the game drive, you will head back to the hotel for lunch and rest. After the rest, our guide will transfer you to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. The Channel is collection point for most of the park animals and is one of the best spots to see wildlife in Africa. It is also one of the best places to go for birding in Uganda.

- Day 9 - Crater lakes visit and Community Experience- Depart to LakeAfter early breakfast at your hotel, you will visit Kicwamba Orphanage and the stunning crater lakes. Some of these lakes are at over 400m deep, making them one of the most beautiful places in Uganda and you will experience some Best Cultural activities within the community depending on the time. After we leave the scenic behind and make the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. We aim to reach the lodge in time for safari walk to view of zebras, topis, warthogs, giraffes, cape buffaloes and impalas.

- Day 10 - Departure to Entebbe for your Flight Back homeGet early up for a safari walk and community visit for activities, you will go for a community experience where you will learn about Ankore culture and among the things to learn are: a. Dressing Code (Okwezirika) b. Milking Long horned cattles (Okukama) c. Grazing cows (Okurunda) After you will be transferred to Entebbe airport for you flight back home.

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Passports must have a clean and a full visa page for endorsement.
- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
