- Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, our team will collect you. As you set off with a packed picnic lunch, the Rift Valley landscape unfolds around you. Your guide steers towards Tarangire National Park, the least frequented yet boasting remarkable game viewing. Hosting Tanzania’s largest elephant population, Tarangire is also home to abundant buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and various antelope species, especially visible during the dry season when the Tarangire River draws high concentrations of wildlife.
Pause at a scenic picnic site to savor your lunch amidst panoramic views of the park and the flowing river below. Perhaps you’ll share the moment with elephants quenching their thirst and digging for water along the riverbanks. After lunch, continue with game viewing into the late afternoon before departing the park. Journey to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Embarking on our second day, we venture towards the Serengeti, a hallmark of the Great Migration and a gem among Africa’s wonders. Our journey today is nothing short of breathtaking as we ascend to the highlands and traverse the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater. Stretching before us is the expansive Serengeti, a vast 6,900 square mile park teeming with over three million large animals, including 1.5 million wildebeest, 250,000 zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Additionally, numerous smaller creatures like rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, monkeys, baboons, and African hares inhabit this diverse ecosystem, along with 500 bird species.
Following lunch, our game drive continues as we journey towards the Matawi Serengeti Camp. Here, we indulge in comfortable dining, gather around the outdoor fire with the occasional glimpse of slinking hyenas, and reminisce about our day beneath the vast African sky before retiring for the night.

- Day 5 - Ngorongoro crater to Arusha
Following a delightful breakfast, prepare your packed lunches for an unforgettable adventure. Today, our destination is none other than the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven natural wonders.
This extraordinary marvel was born from the colossal eruption of a massive volcano two million years ago. The fertile lava deposits left behind created a unique ecosystem, rendering the crater a natural haven for wildlife. With the highest concentration of animals in Africa, the crater resembles a sprawling natural zoo.
As the largest intact caldera in the world, formed from a cataclysmic explosion millions of years ago, the Ngorongoro Crater’s floor sits at an elevation of 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. Within its confines, approximately 30,000 animals roam freely, accompanied by a diverse array of bird species.
Following our exhilarating animal-spotting expedition, we’ll journey back to Arusha, where we’ll ensure you’re dropped off at your desired destination.
