- Day 1 - Pick Up and Transfer to Murchison Falls via Rhino Tracking i
Your driver-guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, enjoy chances to spot wildlife such as lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffaloes, and elephants. You will also experience the breathtaking Murchison Falls, widely regarded as one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. The park is a true birdwatcher’s haven, home to over 450 bird species, including the dwarf kingfisher, white-thighed hornbill, and Goliath heron, among many others.
En route, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your first Big Five encounter, where you will spend about an hour tracking rhinos on foot. After the experience, continue for lunch before proceeding to the park. Upon arrival, visit the top of the falls for spectacular views, then check in to your accommodation and relax for the evening as you prepare for the next day’s adventures.

- Day 2 - Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Launch Cruise to the Bottom
Start your day with an early breakfast, then head out for a game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, an area known for its rich concentration of wildlife. Enjoy excellent opportunities for viewing and photographing elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards, and a wide variety of bird species.
Return to your lodge for lunch before setting off on a 3-hour boat cruise to the base of the falls. This experience is often considered the highlight of a Murchison Falls safari, offering close-up encounters with wildlife along the river. Glide past large pods of hippos, sunbathing crocodiles, and numerous aquatic birds as you make your way toward the powerful cascades of the falls.

- Day 3 - Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, depart from your lodge and enjoy a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park. This day is dedicated entirely to travel, allowing you to relax and take in the Ugandan landscapes along the way. Upon arrival at your accommodation, check in, unwind, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight in preparation for the next day’s activities.

- Day 4 - Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National
At the break of dawn, you make your way to the forest headquarters, where a friendly ranger greets you and gives a briefing for the day ahead. By 8:00 am, your trek begins, winding through the lush greenery of Kibale Forest National Park, a place celebrated for having the richest diversity of primates in the world. The forest hums with life, and every rustle of leaves or distant call could signal the presence of one of its famous inhabitants' chimpanzees. With around 5,000 chimpanzees living wild in Uganda, the anticipation of spotting them is palpable.
Soon, you hear the excited chatter of the chimps and follow the ranger quietly. Then, there they are swinging effortlessly through the canopy, playing, grooming, and nibbling on wild fruits. You spend a full hour immersed in their world, captivated by their energy and intelligence.
After this unforgettable encounter, you return to your lodge for a hearty lunch, savoring the memories of the morning. Refreshed, the journey continues as you drive toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, watching the landscape change and the scenery unfold. By evening, you arrive at your lodge, ready for dinner and a peaceful night’s rest, eager for the adventures the next day will bring.

- Day 5 - Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Today unfolds with both a game drive and a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Early in the morning, you set out on a game drive across the vast plains of the park, taking in sweeping views of valleys, terraced hills, and an impressive variety of wildlife. Along the way, you may encounter reedbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, warthogs, elephants, lions, buffaloes, and many other species roaming freely in their natural habitat.
After the morning exploration, you return to your lodge for a relaxing lunch and a short rest.
In the afternoon, the adventure continues with a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, the natural waterway that links Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is alive with activity large pods of hippos bask in the water, Nile crocodiles rest along the banks, and a rich variety of birdlife gathers along the reed-lined shores. You may spot pelicans, kingfishers, saddle-billed storks, and even the occasional crowned cranes.
As the day comes to an end, you return to your accommodation in time for dinner and a peaceful evening.

- Day 6 - Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, travelling through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, an area famously known for its rare tree-climbing lions. With some luck, you may spot them resting in the fig trees, though sightings are never guaranteed.
Continue your journey toward Bwindi, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas an estimated 1,000 individuals. The park protects several habituated gorilla families that can be tracked, set within one of Africa’s oldest and most biologically rich rainforests, dating back over 25,000 years and supporting hundreds of plant species.
Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and take the rest of the day at leisure. Relax and prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience awaiting you the next day.

- Day 7 - Gorilla Trekking Experience and Batwa community
After an early breakfast, you will meet your ranger guide for a briefing before venturing into the impenetrable Bwindi Forest. The rainforest is breathtaking, with its steep, densely forested slopes and a rich tapestry of flora. Winding trails carved by wildlife allow you to navigate through this incredible habitat, though the trek’s length and difficulty depend on the movements of the gorilla families.
When you finally encounter a gorilla group, you will spend a full hour observing these gentle giants in their natural environment a profoundly moving and unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community, learning about their culture, traditions, and way of life in harmony with the forest.

Continue the drive, soaking in the scenery, and arrive at the airport in the late evening for your drop-off. This marks the conclusion of your unforgettable Ugandan adventure.

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
