Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from Arusha in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser with a professional safari guide. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day game drive through the park’s savannah landscapes, river valleys, and seasonal swamps prime habitats for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracts wildlife throughout the year, especially during the dry season when animals gather in large numbers. This creates exceptional wildlife viewing and photography opportunities. Midday, you will enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park surrounded by nature before continuing your afternoon game drive.     05:30 – Pick Up from Arusha

    Early morning departure from your hotel in Arusha in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle. Briefing from your professional guide.

    08:30 – Arrive at Tarangire National Park

    Registration at the park gate followed by the start of your game drive.

    Morning Game Drive (08:30 – 12:30)

    Explore the park’s diverse landscapes including savannah plains, acacia woodlands, and the Tarangire River. Expect to see large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly lions and leopards.

    13:00 – Picnic Lunch Inside the Park

    Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at a designated site overlooking the river or wildlife-rich area.

    14:00 – Afternoon Game Drive

    Continue exploring different sections of the park. Great time for photography as animals gather near the river.

    16:30 – Depart the Park

    Begin your return journey to Arusha.
