3-Day Kenya Safari Tour by Wildaxis Africa Tours Ltd
Offered by - Wildaxis Africa Tours Ltd
Tour Features
Escape Nairobi for an unforgettable three-day safari in Amboseli National Park — one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations and Kenya's most photographed landscape. Nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro on the Kenya-Tanzania border, Amboseli is world-famous for its massive free-roaming elephant herds, which can number in the hundreds, set against the snow-capped peak of Africa's highest mountain. Beyond elephants, the park delivers outstanding Big Five game viewing across its open plains, seasonal swamps, and acacia woodlands. This perfectly paced short safari departs and returns to Nairobi, making it an ideal introduction to Kenya's wildlife or a rewarding extension to any East Africa trip.

- Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
- Day 1 - Nairobi → Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi early morning (6:30 AM) and drive south through Kajiado County and the sweeping Maasai pastoral lands towards the Tanzania border (approx. 4 hours). En route, enjoy views of the open savannah and traditional Maasai homesteads. Arrive Amboseli National Park, check in to your lodge, and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive — head straight to the swamp areas fed by Kilimanjaro's underground snowmelt, where large herds of elephants congregate to drink and bathe. With luck, Mount Kilimanjaro will be clear on the horizon — a truly breathtaking backdrop. Also look out for buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, and hyenas. Sundowner at the lodge. Overnight Amboseli.
Accommodation: Amboseli Sopa Lodge

- Day 2 - Full Day Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives — the best day for comprehensive wildlife viewing. The early morning drive is the most rewarding: Kilimanjaro is typically clearest before 10 AM, offering spectacular photographic opportunities with elephants and the mountain in the same frame. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views over the park's swamps, plains, and the distant peak. The afternoon drive explores the park's acacia woodlands and open grasslands — prime territory for lions, cheetahs, and Maasai giraffes. Also spot zebras, wildebeest, Cape buffalo, and a rich variety of waterbirds in and around the swamps. Optional Maasai village visit at sunset (own cost). Overnight Amboseli.
