After breakfast, begin your journey through the scenic highlands toward Serengeti National Park, arriving in the Central Serengeti by midday as the vast plains unfold before you. As Tanzania’s largest national park, the Serengeti is renowned for its diverse landscapes, ranging from endless open grasslands and sweeping savannahs to dense bush, swamps, and shimmering lakes.

Scattered across the plains are rocky kopjes, which often serve as lookout points for predators such as lions and leopards. The park is world-famous for the Great Migration, where enormous herds of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water.

Enjoy an exciting game drive en route to the Central Serengeti, offering excellent opportunities to spot wildlife along the way, before arriving at camp for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

Spend an exhilarating day exploring the Northern Serengeti’s Mara region, where wildlife flourishes in remarkable abundance. The iconic Mara River winds through this spectacular landscape, offering one of the best opportunities to witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration.

Although nature follows its own rhythm, with a bit of luck you may witness vast herds of wildebeests and zebras courageously crossing the river’s powerful currents as they move northward, only to return south again days later. This breathtaking scenery, reminiscent of Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve, is characterized by rocky kopjes, scattered woodlands, and endless sweeping plains teeming with wildlife.

After an unforgettable day of game viewing and spectacular landscapes, return to camp for a well-deserved dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Within the crater, you will encounter an impressive range of wildlife, from the legendary Big Five to elusive predators such as spotted hyenas and, on rare occasions, wild dogs, along with an abundance of colorful birdlife.
