  • Day 1 - Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport / Arusha

    Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha), you will be met by Terra Safaris representative who'll drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay, waiting for your adventures to start on the following day. You will have an overnight stay at Mount Meru Hotel.

  • Day 2 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approximately 149km (926

    Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha at around 7:30 am or according to your preferred time, you will drive straight to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 2.5 hours. Tarangire National Park is famous for the largest African elephants as well as the huge baobab trees and the mini-wildlife migration with more than 250,000 animals. It is one of the largest parks with an area of more than 2600 square kilometres.


    You will also get a unique opportunity to see different animal species such as large numbers of impalas, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, Thompson’s gazelle and gerenuk. Other animals that you will encounter are wildebeests and zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs which seem to be popular within the southern open areas. You will be served with hot picnic lunch in the afternoon at around 12:30 pm.


    In the evening, you will drive straight to your lodge for refreshments, a well-prepared dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater full game drive then drive to Arusha

    Early morning after breakfast at your accommodation at around 7:30 am to 8:00 am, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and have a glimpse of the crater from a viewpoint before entering the crater. The depth of the Ngorongoro Crater is approximately 600 meters. It has a total diameter of 20km with an area of about 260 square kilometres.


    Animals that are found inside the crater are wildebeests, elephants, zebras, antelopes, prides of lions, buffalos, leopards, jackals, hyenas and hippos. It is also home to more than 500 bird species ranging from the largest to the smallest and within a very short time, it is possible to see as many birds as possible.

    Lunch will be served at a picnic site near the permanent hippo pool. After lunch, you will finalize your game drive and ascend the crater on your way to Arusha or at the airport JRO or ARK for your onward flight.
