  • Day 1 - Dar es salaam- Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will fly from Dar es Salaam to Arusha, arriving in the mid-morning. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide, who will pick you up from Arusha Airport and drive you to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive while carrying packed lunch boxes.

After enjoying wildlife sightings throughout the park, you will be transferred to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through its vast landscapes. This “river of warthogs” serves as the only reliable source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season, making it a prime location for game viewing. Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant families, often seen gathering along the riverbanks. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, as well as a variety of predators that closely follow them, including lions and leopards.

Lunch will be served at a picnic site inside the park, allowing you to enjoy your meal surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.

You will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive while carrying packed lunch boxes, giving you the opportunity to enjoy exceptional wildlife sightings in one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders.

Once the game drive is completed, you will be transferred back to Arusha Airport for your local flight to Dar es Salaam, where our services will come to an end.

Ngorongoro Crater often feels like a lost world upon first arrival. The journey down into the crater is an adventure in itself, and once on the crater floor, you will be surrounded by an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, and over 500 species of birds. The crater also offers one of the best chances to spot the endangered black rhino, which is sometimes seen grazing in the open grasslands.
