  • Day 1 - Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

    Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our friendly staff will welcome you and assist with your transfer to Arusha (approx. 50 minutes). Enjoy the scenic drive through lush landscapes and get your first glimpse of northern Tanzania. Check into Arusha Planet Lodge and settle in for an overnight stay. Relax and prepare for the adventures ahead, take in the peaceful surroundings, and enjoy a leisurely evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge allow you to rest after your journey. This first day sets the tone for an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania.

  • Day 2 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park

    After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. The park is one of Tanzania’s hidden gems, offering a less crowded but equally breathtaking safari experience.

    Upon arrival, your professional guide will take you on a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s riverine forests and savannah plains. Expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species, including the striking lilac-breasted roller. Your guide will share insights about the park’s ecosystem, wildlife behaviors, and conservation efforts, making your safari both thrilling and educational.

    Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated scenic spot within the park, surrounded by the natural sounds of Africa. The journey passes through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering panoramic views of rolling hills, Maasai villages, and grazing wildlife. Along the way, your guide may stop for photos and brief wildlife sightings, including zebras, wildebeests, and various birds. Upon entering the Serengeti, you will begin an afternoon game drive, exploring the endless savannah and spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and other iconic African animals.
