- Day 1 - Kigali-Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative and transferred to Volcanoes National Park. The scenic 2.5-hour drive takes you through Rwanda’s rolling hills, picturesque countryside, and vibrant local communities. Famous for its mountain gorillas and as the base of Dian Fossey’s groundbreaking research, the park offers an unforgettable wildlife experience. You will spend two nights at Kinigi Guest House or a similar lodge, ideally located for gorilla trekking and exploring the park.

- Day 2 - Volcanoes National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, head into Volcanoes National Park for an exciting golden monkey trekking experience. These rare and endangered primates are known for their striking appearance and playful agility as they move through the bamboo forests on the lower slopes of the mountains. The trek offers a great introduction to the terrain and altitude before continuing your journey. Later, depart Rwanda and enjoy a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to more than half of the world's remaining mountain

- Day 3 - Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) rangers, set off into the forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Accompanied by experienced guides, you'll trek through the dense rainforest to locate a habituated gorilla family. Once found, you'll spend up to one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat watching mothers care for their young, playful juveniles interact, and the powerful silverback protect his family. This extraordinary encounter offers a rare opportunity to connect with one of the world's most remarkable and endangered species.

- Day 4 - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Queen Elizabeth National
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most popular wildlife parks. The park is home to many animals, including elephants, lions, hippos, buffaloes, and baboons. Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you explore the park and look out for wildlife. Keep an eye on the trees, where you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions, a rare sight found in only a few places in Africa. You may also see large herds of elephants and many other animals during your safari.

- Day 5 - Game Drive and Boat Launch
Begin with a thrilling game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and antelopes.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat launch on the Kazinga Channel, where you can see hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of birds along the water’s edge. This combination of land and water safari gives a complete view of the park’s wildlife.

- Day 6 - Morning chimpanzee trekking and transfer - Lake Mburo Nation
After an early breakfast, transfer to Kalizu Forest for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. The forest is a beautiful natural habitat with rich vegetation and supports a variety of wildlife, including different primates such as red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, baboons, and vervet monkeys.
During your walk, you may also enjoy birdwatching, with species such as falcons, bee-eaters, and the African finfoot often spotted in the area. The experience offers a peaceful and rewarding encounter with Uganda’s primate life in a less crowded forest setting.
After the chimpanzee tracking activity, continue your journey with a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

- Day 7 - Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
We will start with a walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, a great way to experience wildlife up close. Without vehicle noise, you can hear the sounds of nature and feel fully connected to the environment. Walking also gives you a better chance to see shy animals that often hide from vehicles.
You will likely see animals such as zebras, impalas, topis, warthogs, bushbucks, duikers, and waterbucks. If you are lucky, you may also spot buffaloes or elands, though these are more rare sightings. The number and variety of animals can change depending on the season and weather, as they move in search of fresh grass.
Watching wildlife on foot is calm and special, offering a very different experience from a game drive. After the walking safari, you will transfer back to Entebbe Airport for your departure.

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
