  • Day 1 - Nairobi to the Masai Mara Plains

    Your journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve kicks off with a picturesque drive from your hotel or the airport. Along the way, you'll pause at the renowned Great Rift Valley viewpoint to soak in the expansive views of this stunning geological marvel. Continuing, you'll pass through the lively town of Narok, which serves as the cultural and commercial hub of the Maasai people, before arriving at your safari camp located on the edge of the reserve.


    Once you receive a warm welcome and enjoy a delicious lunch, you'll embark on your first game drive. As the afternoon sun bathes the plains in a golden hue, you’ll delve into the reserve’s diverse ecosystems in search of lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, giraffes, and more.

  • Day 2 - Masai Mara to Serengeti – A Seamless Border Crossing

    You'll begin your day with an early breakfast before checking out of camp and departing the Masai Mara for your scenic journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. At the Kenya–Tanzania border, you’ll switch vehicles and continue into Tanzania with your Terra Safaris professional guide leading the way as usual.


    You'll enjoy the changing landscapes and a relaxed picnic lunch as the terrain opens into the endless Serengeti plains. Upon entering the northern region, you will enjoy a rewarding game drive through this wildlife-rich area, famous for river crossings and large concentrations of predators and herbivores. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeest.
