Renowned for its buffalo groups and bountiful populations of waterbirds, the reserve is famous with birders and day-trippers looking for wildlife. Situated at the gathering point where the Zambezi River streams into the Indian Ocean, this beautiful reserve is mostly a floodplain portrayed by marshes, prairies and a mosaic of waterways. Wildlife & Animals

Marrameou National Reserve upholds diverse populations of wildlife as a result of its fluctuated territory including deltas, oceans and streams.
