Galloping Safaris is a boutique luxury Safari and Kilimanjaro climbing tour provider founded in 2013. We are family-owned and based in the city of Arusha, Tanzania. We are native Tanzanians. We grew up at the base of Kilimanjaro and vacationed in the incredible national parks of Tanzania. We learned the secrets of the land, it’s incredible wildlife and wonderful people. We love our country. Today we share that lifetime of knowledge and love of the land with our Guests from around the world by taking them on breathtaking private Safaris throughout Tanzania and climbs of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The principals of Galloping Safaris are Walter Tenga and Rita Kawiche (Mother), Glory Shirima (Wife) and Kendrick our son. The family is from Marangu village (headquarters of Kilimanjaro National Park.) Walter attained a four-year degree on Environmental Science then volunteered for a year with the Frankfurt Zoological Society studying Wildlife and Conservation in Serengeti National Park. Through his experience Walter grew passionate about Safari Wildlife and Conservation and determined to share the wonders of Tanzania with others by founding a Safari and Kilimanjaro Climbing Guide Company. This is what we believe: We create amazing, safe, experiences for our guests they will remember and treasure for a lifetime. We protect and preserve our Parks and Wildlife by taking only wonderful memories and leaving only foot prints. Our guests should feel like they are our only guest. We treat our employees as valued partners providing sustainable wages and kind treatment. We give back by donating 3.5% of our gross revenue to charitable community causes. Our currents Sponsored lead projects are Helping on Child Education, Health Care, Food Provisions and Sheltering to the destitute households. On the contrary, we know very well, just how precious a first safari can be to people who haven’t had the chance to see wildlife in their natural habitat.
