Overview – Chizarira National Park
Situated in the northwestern space of Zimbabwe, Chizarira National Park is one of the most isolated national parks in Zimbabwe, It gets not many visitors to its wild, rugged scenes and is a spot to see the value in the serenity of the African shrub. Wildlife & Animals – Chizarira National Park
Chizarira National Park is home to four of the large five: buffalo, elephant, leopard and lion can still be spotted here. Chizarira has a large variety of bird life and hundreds of species have been sighted within the Park. Sought-after birds recorded include the African broadbill, Livingstone's flycatcher, western nicator, African emerald cuckoo and the rare and elusive African pitta. Chizarira is also home to the Taita falcon which breeds within the Park.
